What is the difference between the Team license and the Professional license?
- The Team license means that a certain number of users (team of 3, 5, 10, 15 depending on how many team members you want) will get premium accounts. This means that they will be able to create unlimited mind maps and use all the premium features.
The main advantages are:
-
All team members will have access to a default Shared Team Folder. All mind maps created in here or dragged in here will be automatically shared and editable for the whole team. Team members can share their mind map with other users outside of the team by inviting them by email, However, if those are free users they will have only free user rights on these mind maps.
-
The owner of the license can add/remove users, add another admin to the license, create team groups and team folders. This is a great solution if you are working on separate projects with your team and you want to share different mind maps with each group.

- The Professional license, which is a single-user license, gives Professional access only to one user.
This user will be able to share mind maps with other users by setting the Guest Editing option and sharing the mind map by its URL. This means that the guest users will be able to edit these shared mind maps with premium functions.
If they are free users these maps will not count in the 3 map limit.
If they don't have Mindomo accounts and they don't want to sign up for one they can still access the mind maps and work with premium features using a Guest name only.
